Dion and the Belmonts aus: WORLDS OF MUSIC
Dion DiMucci und "The Belmonts" (Angelo D’Aleo, Fred Milano und Carlo Mastrangelo) kannten sich bereits aus der Schulzeit, als sie sich 1957 unter dem Namen "Dion and the Belmonts" zusammentaten. Mit Titeln wie "I wonder why", "No One Knows" und "A Teenager in Love" (alle 1958) wurden sie zu Stars des Doo-Wop. Dion and the Belmonts lösten sich 1959 auf. Dion DiMucci begann anschließend eine Solokarriere.
