My Old Kentucky Home aus: WORLDS OF MUSIC
Der Folksong wurde 1853 von Stephen Foster komponiert und ist heute die offizielle Hymne des US-Bundesstaats Kentucky. "My Old Kentucky Home" beschreibt ursprünglich eine Alltagsszene auf einer Sklavenplantage und war ein beliebter Song in Minstrel Shows. Randy Newman schrieb 1970 eine neue Version des Liedes.
